I presently own a 1961 Corvette that I have traced back to Mike Nolan at Y-Yard Auto Sales p.o. box 933, Effingham, IL. Mike purchased the car from Grubbs Auto Saklvage RR 45 Flora, IL.on 9/20/73. The car was tan or beige with a 283 and 3 speed stick with a hardtop. The car currently looks great and is now grey metallic with a silver cove. It has a 283 from a 1957 corvette and a hurst 4-speed transmission. I realize this was 38 years ago and It has had 7 different owners since then. I also realize I am imposing on your time.
